One of the oldest printing companies in Vellore, KS Rayal Press has been in business over the last 51 years, engaging in both traditional and modern printing activities. The company has upgraded its digital printing with the installation of a new Ricoh Pro C7500 digital color production press, supplied & installed by Monotech Systems .
Monotech has been increasingly expanding the installation base of Ricoh digital production presses across the country by roping in clients such as KS Rayal Press in Vellore. “This Ricoh Pro C7500 in our digital printing setup is the second Ricoh machine from Monotech. The first one being the Ricoh Pro C5200S which we installed three years ago,” says Krishna Thilak of KS Rayal Press.
Thilak continues, “Our installation of the new Ricoh Pro C7500 early this year has opened up an opportunity for us to change the game of digital printing. This press is capable of running at an unprecedented speed to deliver graphic prints in the finest quality and dazzling textures we have ever produced, compatibly on wide varieties of lightweight and heavyweight printing materials, in the industry’s leading resolution.”
Robust and compact, Ricoh Pro C7500 with its 5th Color Station containing 7 additional tonners sets a new standard in 11-color printing. Capable of operating at an adjustable speed of 95ppm, the Ricoh digital production press delivers graphic prints in 2400x4800dpi on varied media ranging from 40gsm up to 470gsm. “Print innovation is totally redefined by the new Ricoh Pro C7500 as we use white ink too for speciality printing or print embellishments,” says Thilak.
The Ricoh Pro C7500 is bundled with EFI Fiery® Digital Print Servers, which optimizes efficiency and print quality. Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers flawlessly facilitates precise job management and color control, which eventually helps KS Rayal Press engage in quick production of high-quality graphics and personalized prints with the Ricoh’s advanced variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.
