A creative agency, branding expert, and print service provider, Color Drop at Kannur in Kerala provides graphics, designs, and a string of end-products produced using a fleet of advanced machines and technologies. The printer recently upgraded its fleet with the addition of a Ricoh Pro C7500 digital color production press supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.

Anshad CP, managing partner at Color Drop, says, “Our tryst with Ricoh and partnership with Monotech Systems started right from the onset of our business around a decade ago.”

“We installed the new Ricoh Pro C7500 by replacing an old Ricoh Pro C7200X to bolster print quality and productivity. This new and upgraded Ricoh digital production press is packed with advanced features and capabilities with which we are now able to add new quality and color vibrancy to our end-products, viz. cards, brochures, books, certificates, school ID cards, posters, and others.”

A successor of Ricoh Pro C7200X, the new Ricoh Pro C7500 runs at an upgradable speed of 95 ppm at Color Drop. In addition, it prints in the resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi, which helps Color Drop enjoy a new freedom to create textured graphics in vibrant colors. Media flexibility of the machine is commendable as it compatibly handles a broad range of thin and thick media starting from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 is bundled with the EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers for optimizing efficiency and quality graphic prints. The intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers is designed to facilitate precise job management and color control with which Color Drop manages quick production of high-quality pictures and personalized graphic prints utilizing the Ricoh press’ advanced variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

Backed by a team of a half-dozen skilled staff who are well trained and experienced professionals engaging in designing, printing, and production of digitally-printed graphics and end-products, ISO-certified Color Drop has been serving clients from different sectors, varied businesses, and different walks of life.

“Our team is always ready to set brands apart from the competitions,” says Anshad, adding, “For that we have the right manpower and technically empowered machines like the Ricoh Pro C7500.”
