Frankfurter Buchmesse’s new Frankfurt Fellowship Network offers industry professionals from all over the world an intensive training and networking experience with stops in Frankfurt and Zurich from 5 to 20 October 2025.
The Fellowship Programme was launched in 1998 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Frankfurter Buchmesse. The program focused on the exchange of information, professional dialogue, and the expansion of an international book industry network.
In 2025, the Frankfurt Fellowship and the Frankfurt Invitation Programmes will merge to one unique programme combining different features of the old programmes. It combines the renowned international Frankfurt Fellowship and Frankfurt Invitation Programs for the first time. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their companies at Frankfurter Buchmesse.
The new program, Frankfurt Fellowship Network, will include visits to publishers and bookstores, market presentations, guided tours, matchmaking events, and numerous networking opportunities in Frankfurt and Zürich (Switzerland) as well as at Frankfurter Buchmesse, where the participants will exhibit their books at a joint booth. This year’s program focuses on literary fiction.
The Frankfurt Invitation Programme, founded in the 1970s, was always supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. It has enabled numerous publishers from developing book nations to participate in the industry meeting, so that they could form networks and act in the book market worldwide.
