“We have been in the industry since 1997 for the stationary, printing, packaging and converting industries. We are focusing on quality, service and performance – that’s why we have a 95% market share in India in notebook and stationary manufacturing equipment. We supply these machines all over India and export to 90 plus countries in Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Africa. We have more than 1,000 clients in India. For exports, we have different machinery according to the country’s specific requirements,” Dilip Golani, senior manager –marketing (domestic) at Line O Matic told Indian Printer & Publisher.
The company received a good response at Printpack and did some bookings on-site, Golani said, adding the company had closed 20-plus deals at the event.
“We have 60 plus engineers, and with their help, we can address complaints in minimal time. We have five units in Ahmedabad located within 5 km of each other from where we manage our domestic and international operations. On average, we manufacture somewhere around 30 plus machines in a month, which comes to about 300 machines a year. So far, we have had installations of around 250 plus machines in FY 24-25,” he said.
The Indian book printing industry is seasonal, which impacts notebook manufacturing, Golani said, adding at present the notebook printing season for the academic year 2025-26 is going on, for which most companies prefer fully automatic machines for both better and faster production.
“We have different models for notebook printing, with capacities ranging from 8 to 25 tons per day, Golani said, adding the company has installations in Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and across India. Line O Matic distributed free double-ring notebooks to visitors.
