With the installation of an AccurioPress C7090 from Konica Minolta, Sagar Digital Printer, a commercial printer in Kanpur, has significantly increased its operational efficiency, expanded its service offerings, and ensured consistent quality output.

The company has been operating for over 40-50 years in various segments. “Around 12 years ago, we recognized an opportunity in the digital printing market. The advancing technology and growing demand for personalized print solutions prompted us to shift our focus and enter the printing industry. Since then, we have grown steadily, blending tradition with innovation to establish ourselves as a key player in the printing sector,” says proprietor Nikhil Shah.

“We began with the Konica Minolta C73hc, which allowed us to explore vibrant color reproduction and meet creative demands. With time, we added the C1085 and C6085 models, which significantly increased our capacity and supported larger, more complex printing projects. Most recently, we installed the AccurioPress C7090, which is designed for precision and efficiency in handling a range of applications,” he says.

On the installation, Shah said, “We selected the machine for its versatility, precision, and ability to handle a variety of materials and applications. While the C7090 has met several expectations, such as improving print quality and handling complex projects, adapting to its advanced features and unique specifications has required some fine-tuning to align with our workflows and preferences. However, with ongoing support from Konica Minolta’s engineering team, we are confident in overcoming these refinements and fully achieving our desired outcomes in the long term.”

The company’s daily operations revolve around offering comprehensive printing solutions to diverse clients. The first category is professional designers who need high-quality brochures, visiting cards, and marketing materials. Corporate clients form another category of its clients, with customized prints according to their branding needs. Other than these regular services, it takes up special projects that demand unique designs and intricate details.

“In ensuring the timely completion, quality standards, and meeting clients’ satisfaction with products and services, our company’s team deals with clients every day. Our production capacity has increased significantly over the years due to our investments in advanced Konica Minolta machines. From small-scale, high-detail designer projects to large-volume corporate orders, our facility can handle various printing requirements,” he adds.

On expansion plans, Shah says,” Expansion is central to our vision for the future. We are looking at opportunities to invest in the latest printing technologies and diversify our service portfolio to include more innovative solutions. We also want to increase our market presence by reaching new geographies and client segments. Moving forward, our focus remains on developing, embracing new technologies, and strengthening relationships with our clients to deliver value in every project we undertake.”
