Golden City Digital Offset Printers, an Amritsar-based commercial printer known for its premium wedding albums, has increased its production capacity by installing an AccurioPress C7090 from Konica Minolta. The 10-year-old printer has previously invested in two other Konica Minolta presses.

Golden City Digital Offset Printers’ primary focus is on premium wedding album printing, which constitutes a significant portion of the business. In addition, it specializes in offering other printing services that accommodate the diverse needs of the clients. “We ensure that we remain versatile in our offerings as our daily operations involve processing high volume print jobs, maintaining good quality, and making sure to meet deadlines,” said Tajinder Singh, owner.

The company, registered as a partnership, claims to deliver high-quality printing through continuous investments in advanced technology such as Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090. On business, Singh says, “With a decade of experience in printing, we have built a reputation for quality and reliability. We are satisfied with the services and machinery provided by Konica Minolta, as their support has played a key role in helping us grow.”

The AccurioPress C7090 is among Konica Minolta’s newest CMYK cut-sheet toner press. It optimizes print performance by offering advanced and creative possibilities, including high-quality imagery in full bleed. The media-versatile press comes with several features — Image density control technology, optional inter-cooler curl eliminator, embossed paper support, paper feeding through air-blow fusing separation, and more. It can handle long sheet sizes of up to 1300 mm and duplex up to 900 mm.

The AccurioPress C7090 has been in place for two years,” said Singh. “It has been the third major investment we have made in a Konica Minolta machine and upgrading our equipment consistently enables us to stay ahead of the game in the competitive printing market. The previous Konica Minolta machines were reliable, and we wanted to add capacity, hence we decided to upgrade the machinery to meet the rising demand for precision and speed in printing services. So far, the C7090 has delivered on our expectations by increasing the output of production, improving the quality of wedding albums, and meeting the deadlines.”

On company plans, Singh said, “At present, we are content with our current structure as well as the size. Maintaining the quality of service, which has achieved long-time client relationships, is on our priority list while constantly improving efficiency through modern technology. Though the company remains open to all future opportunities, the current strategy involves stability, quality customer satisfaction, and meeting evolving industry demands without spreading resources too thin.”
