Provin to support Ryobi-MHI across India

Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology, a joint venture established for the integration of the sheetfed offset and commercial web offset printing machinery businesses of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Printing & Packaging Machinery and Ryobi will commence its operations from 1 January 2014.

The joint venture is aimed at bringing about the integration of the sheetfed offset presses formerly manufactured by both companies individually into a joint manufacturing, marketing, sales and service setup. There are significant synergies between the two organizations that will affect product line-up enhancements, expansion of product development capabilities and these should lead to production cost reduction and improvement in sales and service networks.

For Indian offset printers and particularly customers of Mitsubishi and Ryobi sheetfed presses, Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology has appointed Provin Technos headquartered in New Delhi as the pan-India sales and service agency for the complete range of products of the new company with effect from 1 January 2014.

Provin Technos is already the existing pan-India sales and service agency for Mitsubishi sheetfed and commercial web offset presses, Rotatek narrow web presses, MarQuipWardUnited range of reel to sheet machines with a very strong sales and service network spread across India with a team of engineers strategically placed across India to provide timely and efficient service.

With the addition of the Ryobi range of sheetfed offset presses, Provin will now be able to offer a complete range of printing machines sizes from A3 to B1 and above in all possible configurations including inline coating and perfection. Effective 1 January 2014, Provin will take over the servicing and spare part operations for both Mitsubishi and Ryobi’s existing customers.

The transition of operations from both the existing companies has been planned meticulously so that the there is no interruption in services provided to both Mitsubishi and Ryobi customers. The sales and service network has been identified and put in place to ensure uninterrupted support to customers during the transition period.
