The World Print Communication Forum (WPCF) has announced Raveendra Joshi as its new president. Joshi is a seasoned professional in the graphical sector and brings vast experience and leadership to his new role.
Expressing his enthusiasm after his selection, Joshi said, “I am honored and excited to lead WPCF. My commitment is to foster collaboration, innovation, and global growth within our professional community.”
Joshi is a veteran in the print industry since 1980. He co-founded United Multicolor Printers in 1999 in Pune. He was instrumental in his company winning the National Award for Excellence in Print from 2017 to 2020. Joshi played a pivotal role in transforming The Poona Press Owners Association, where he served for 20 years.Â
Under his leadership, the association conceptualized projects such as the Printers Shopping Mall and Print Museum. Joshi’s leadership extended to the national level, serving in various roles in the All India Federation of Master Printers, where he is currently leading projects for the benefit of the print sector in India. Joshi is passionate about promoting print through education, collaboration, and addressing global challenges in the industry, the Forum said.
WPCF extended its appreciation to outgoing president Kamal Chopra for his service and contribution to the organization.
The WPCF is a collaborative platform for the world’s major transnational and national printing associations to work together to promote the development and prosperity of the global printing industry.
