At the 13th Screen Print India exhibition held from 6 to 8 May at Goregaon Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Kunal Enterprise promoted all the products that it sells in India. The company is a leading distributor of a variety of hardware and software solutions for the graphic arts industry. At the event Kunal Enterprise put the spotlight on the latest screen printing press by Japan-based Sakurai. The Japanese company has launched its first direct servo drive roll-to-roll screen press, MSDR60. Some of the salient features of MSDR60 are its capability to print on very thin substrates, fasttact time, alignment accuracy and numerical control. Kunal Enterprise is the sole dealer and distributor of Sakurai products India.

Another brand in focus was Demak which makes doming machines. Demak has recently given all its products a new look and design, said Ajay Gandhi, president of Kunal Enterprise. “We have just installed Demak model PM2 at Delhi-based Print Emporio,” Gandhi disclosed. The PM2 is fit for dosing resin on complex shapes.

Apart from these two highlights, Kunal Enterprise talked about dryers from UK-based Natgraph. The company makes UV, AIR and IR dryers. It also makes automatic sheet stackers and prepress equipment. Kunal Enterprise is again the sole dealer and distributor of Natgraph products in India and also the sole distributor of Keywell products. Keywell of Taiwan makes flatbed screen printing machines, dryers and prepress equipment.

There were solutions for the packaging segment at the show as well. The company has brought to India the latest technology from Japan in liquid packaging. Kunal Enterprise has become the sole partner and distributor for India of Toppan Printing’s EP-PAK carton technology as well as Shikoku filling systems. The EP-PAK is a paper liquid container and offers long storage periods at ordinary temperatures for a range of contents by laminating barrier films on paper.
