After a year of successful product launches, Roland DG and its distributor in India, Apsom Infotex Ltd., will be attending Media Expo, which takes place on 23–25 February at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. At Stand B10, Hall 6, the company will showcase the latest Roland DG wide-format technology, including the new TrueVIS VG and SG series of printer and cutters.

The TrueVIS VG series has been awarded the title ‘Best Wide Format Print & Cut Solution’ at the prestigious European Digital Press (EDP) Awards 2016. With four new FlexFire printheads working in combination with the vibrant TrueVIS Ink, the VG Series delivered stunning print quality in a choice of three ink configurations—Dual CMYK for maximum productivity (Light Cyan, Light Magenta, and Light Black for fine details and smooth gradations while for enhanced prints, white ink can be used). Delivering efficient results at high speed, the VG series is ideal for banners, decals, signage and posters.

Launched in September 2016, the TrueVIS SG series of CMYK printer/cutters is ideal for new or developing businesses. With two FlexFire printheads and new cutting technology, the SG was drawn up for reliability, quality and profitability. Available in 54” and 30” print widths, the SG series allows businesses to create versatile CMYK prints without sacrificing productivity and it is 60% faster than previous models. Apart from it, the company will also display the latest SOLJET series, the SOLJET EJ-640 eco-solvent printer, available in 4 of 7 color configurations. Designed for high-volume production in mind, in combination with low running costs, the EJ provides the ideal solution for intense print shop environments when perfect production on time is essential. Running at high speed, the EJ-640 can quickly produce up to 102m2 of media in an hour—and supports heavy roll media up to 40 kg.

For banners, posters and largescale decals, they will demonstrate 4-color VersaEXPRESS RF-640A, providing economical highspeed print; delivering vibrant prints at speeds up to 48.5 m2/ hr. In UV primer technology, they will be launching VersaUV LEF300, including the brand new ECO-UV primer designed for the customization of even more substrates. The next generation of Roland DG’s successful VersaUV LEF series, developed with versatility in mind, gives businesses the opportunity to produce numerous luxury effects utilizing ECO-UV ink, including Gloss and White options.

The ideal solution for any busy print shop, industrial or retail environment, the LEF-300 can print on a multitude of surfaces including plastics, glass, wood, canvas, leather and much more. With the latest VersaWorks, Dual RIP software also included, the LEF-300 provides a simple, productive workflow for maximum profitability.
