Kingston Data Systems (KDS), an Australia-based manufacturer of converting ancillary equipment, has announced the appointment of Flexo Image Graphics as its distributor for India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

KDS has a long association with Indian converters with almost a thousand of its Visi-tech print inspection systems in operation on the Asian sub-continent. Now KDS is offering the Indian market its ‘Quantum’ manufacturing efficiency management system, which has been specially designed for web converters.

Mike Young, managing director of KDS said, “The South Asia market is very important to us, and the Quantum product is one of those products that very few know about at the moment but is set to make a huge impact. We required a distributor with the market presence, respect within the industry, and the infrastructure to respond to customers’ needs, and Flexo Image Graphics ticked all the boxes for us. Gourav Roy, MD of Flexo Image Graphics, and his company are a clear stand-out performer in the region. Gourav’s work ethic and his company are leading the way in the Indian subcontinent, and we are extremely pleased to have them onboard.”

Gourav Roy said: The business has been tough for the converters as all costs are increasing. It becomes more important to manage costs inwardly to increase profits. Quantum from KDS gives all the information that can be needed for the operator or the management to maintain and improve efficiency for the assets they are using. This will help to cut down the raw material and time wastage. The best part is that Quantum’s information can be linked with the management system which currently a converter is using for job planning. I personally think this is an exciting offering that would not only help to control cost but will also play a role for a converter to plan future assets.

KDS and Quantum are leading the global adoption of Industry 4 0 connectivity on converting machines and are transforming the way converters work and ultimately transforming the efficiency of their manufacturing operations.

Kingston Data Systems, based in Melbourne Australia, manufactures converting ancillary equipment and specializes in print and converting efficiency management systems.
