Media Expo 2021 has returned to the physical format of trade shows after a lengthy hiatus, and what a welcome return it was! Exhibitors and visitors alike are having a great time finding, networking, and perusing the high-quality and most up-to-date products and services. The Indian Printer and Publisher team also attended the trade exhibition and attempted to contact exhibitors and guests to gather information for readers who could not participate or wished to learn more about the event, held after a two-year interval.
We stopped by the Unique Sign Innovations display on the second day of the event and spoke with Mohammed Ali, the company’s managing director. The director was delighted to see Indian Printer and Publisher at their booth and made time for our group.
Unique Sign Innovations presenting fifth time at the exhibition
Unique Sign Innovations told Indian Printer and Publisher that they had attended four times before. “We are attending Media Expo 2021 for the fifth time, and the functionality of the show has changed significantly. Although there is less turnout than the previous expo, the fact that people are now coming and participating in the exhibitions is a positive indicator for us,” Ali shared.
Since 2012 Unique Sign Innovations has been an exclusive distributor of Yaselan digital printers. It also deals in Inkjet digital printing machines, UV Printers, Solvent and eco-solvent inks, sublimation printers, hot and cold laminators, laser and CNC routers, UV inks, and spare parts. The show displayed a Yaslen Digital Printer with Ricoh Gen-six printhead powered by Kao Chimigraf.
It can print on different surfaces of material – wood door, PVC sheets, acrylic sheets, glass decor, almirah decor and many types of other UV products.According to Ali, the USP of the Yaselan printer is ‘linear motion’ with maglev technology (run machine on magnets) while other devices run on the regular motion. This printer can give a speed of up to 300 sq/feet per hour with a minimum of two print heads.
On Covid-19, he also commented that nobody wants to install a machine, but as the pandemic situation decreases, people come out of the shell and engage with business again. “We can see exhibitors and visitors who came across the states of India to participate in this Media Expo 2021 and showcase the different and new launches of technology-driven machines for the customers,” he said. Unique Sign Innovations has numerous expansion plans in the pipeline. The company is set to launch a new digital printer, namely the Yaselan Ricoh Gen-six with Konica printhead – Binary Star DA-3200 double-sided asynchronous UV printer, which specially works for the textile and home decor industry segments.
