Canon will show for the first time its new wide format printer, the imagePROGRAF PRO-541S, at the upcoming Pamex 2020 from 6 to 9 January at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The 8-color inkjet printer was launched for the south and southeast Asian markets in November last year. The PRO-541S is ideal for commercial advertising posters, signage, POS, and also for soft proofing.
The new PRO Series printers are powered by a high-speed image processing engine – the L-COA PRO processor. The single 1.28-inch-wide Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) printhead on the new printer is capable of ejecting ink droplets size as small as 4 picoliters per color.
In addition to the imagePROGRAF PRO-541S, Canon will display its entire range of digital production presses such as its workhorse Canon imagePRESS C8000VP, its flagship imagePRESS C710 and the imageRUNNER ADV 8585 along with the wide-format inkjet printer, the TX-5300 MFP T36.
The target audience for the company would be jobbers, copy shop owners, CRD and book and offset printers that are adding digital book production capacity.
