Publishers on Publishing: Inside India’s Book Business, edited by Nitasha Devasar, was awarded the first prize at the Excellence in Book Production Awards in POD category at the Delhi Book Fair while All About Book Publishing was awarded the Merit Certificate at the Excellence in Book Production Awards in Journals category.
The awards were organized by the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP). The FIP received 1326 books from 90 publishers for various categories of awards. A total of 135 titles by 68 publishers in English and key Indian languages were selected by the eminent jury for various categories of prizes. Additionally, a total of 45 titles received the first prize in different segments.
The 24th edition of the Delhi Book Fair took place at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan from 25 August to 2 September.
