Varanasi-based Snap Kosh, a printing services provider, has installed Konica Minolta’s flagship AccurioPress C14010s at its facility. The installation, inaugurated by Katsuhisa Asari, managing director, Konica Minolta India, expands the company’s digital printing capabilities. Snap Kosh had previously installed an AccurioPress C7090 in December 2024.
Founded in 1969, Snap Kosh is a veteran user of offset technology and an early adopter of digital in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. It was founded when Padmashree Badrinath Kapoor decided to establish a book printing press to print his books, which he used to get done in Prayagraj. Over time, his son, Vinamra Kapoor, joined him in the business. Vinamra, who is now the owner, manages the day-to-day affairs at Snap Kosh along with his son Deepak.
The business, which began with the need for self-publishing, moved toward printing religious books. The company is known as a one-stop solution for all printing requirements. They offer short-run printed literature, ID cards, visiting cards, specialized sticker printing, calendars, brochures, and more. With Vinamra’s expertise in photography, photo and album production became a heavily demanded commodity in the pilgrimage city.
The AccurioPress C14010s is designed to deliver high-speed, high-quality digital production with advanced automation, enabling print businesses to achieve greater efficiency, faster turnaround times, and consistent output. Equipped with features such as intelligent quality optimization, advanced media handling, and smooth workflow integration, the system supports a wide range of applications, including commercial print, on-demand jobs, and value-added services.
The AccurioPress C14010s includes features such as automated paper detection (IM-104/105), auto duplex alignment, and real-time defect detection. The platform handles up to 2.5 million prints per month, with smart engine linearization and self-correcting technologies that eliminate downtime and ensure repeatable, consistent output, even for novice operators.
Apart from the Konica Minolta machine, Snap Kosh operates Adast and Poly machines for traditional offset printing, and handles both mono and multi-color jobs. Its digital department is equipped with Xerox and Canon production machines. Additionally, it maintains a comprehensive in-house binding and finishing setup for post-press operations. This diverse equipment mix allows the company to handle both high-volume traditional printing needs and specialized digital printing requirements, ensuring versatility in its service offerings.
Commenting on the installation, Vinamra Kapoor said, “We are witnessing a clear shift in market expectations, with increasing demand for faster turnaround, consistent quality, and a broader range of applications. The AccurioPress C14010s is a strategic investment for us, enabling us to meet these evolving demands and position our business for future growth.”
Asari said at the inauguration, “Regional markets across India are increasingly embracing digital transformation, and Varanasi is a strong example of this shift. This installation reflects the growing demand for high-performance digital printing solutions. At Konica Minolta, we remain committed to enabling our customers to scale their businesses through advanced technology, enhanced productivity, and new application opportunities. Partnerships like these help us build a future-ready print ecosystem across markets.”
Asari said this installation underscored Konica Minolta’s continued focus on expanding its digital production portfolio and customer footprint, while enabling print service providers to tap into opportunities such as short-run production, on-demand printing, and customized applications.
