Founded by Anand Sharma, Adhunik Book Binders is a well-known name in Jaipur, specializing in government tenders, educational publishers, and children’s books, serving the markets of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Sikar.

Sharma says the company’s unique selling proposition (USP) is its commitment to quality and timely delivery. Some of its top clients include Sanjiv Prakashan, Utkarsh Publication, Book House, Panchsheel Prakashan, Hitech Publishers, and Mittsure Technologies LLP, he said.

Recently, Adhunik Book Binders invested in a BW@2500 six-clamp perfect binding machine and a Trident E20 from Bindwel, choosing these machines for their quality and service support. Sharma noted that the Bindwel machine has enhanced their production process due to its ease of operation, high-quality output, and speed.

Asked about the specific features of the Bindwel machine that he finds most valuable, he highlighted the cam-driven nipping station, the built-in intelligent Management Information System (MIS), and the easy job changeover.

Sharma shared a recent challenging project in which they completed 50,000 softcover books in a single day for Hitech Publishers, a feat made possible by the efficiency of the Bindwel machine. Additionally, he mentioned another substantial project for Sanjiv Prakashan in Jaipur, where they produced five titles totaling 1 crore books.

Sharma praised Bindwel for its excellent technical support regarding spare parts and service for the past two decades. “We have had a very good experience with Welbound and Bindwel machines for the last 20 years. All our book binding equipment and three-knife trimmers are from Welbound and Bindwel,” he said.

The company has a robust setup, employing 50 people in a factory that spans 12,500 square feet, with an approximate annual turnover of Rs 3 crore.
