Color-Logic, a worldwide name in metallic printing technology, has announced certification of the Fiery digital front ends (DFEs) available on Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14010S and C12010S models. This certification marks a significant advancement in the realm of print embellishments, enabling printers to utilize white ink and CMYK printing on metallic stock with exceptional results, the company said in a release posted on its website.

Discussing the certification, Color-Logic director of sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said, “The Color-Logic test form that Fiery submitted for certification showcased the array of embellishments available to designers using the 924 metallic colors available in the Color-Logic system. The results were nothing short of spectacular, demonstrating the ability of the Fiery DFEs to enhance the visual appeal of printed materials.”

Geeves continued, “The innovative design tools and metallic colors available in the Color-Logic workflow are not merely supported by the Fiery DFEs, but a special feature in the DFEs gives designers direct access to the complete Color-Logic metallic color system. This streamlines the design process and yields stunning print results, particularly when using metallic stock. In developing one of the first DFEs to support the Color-Logic workflow for metallic printing on metallic stock with white plus CMYK, Fiery has established itself as a pioneer in this cutting-edge technology.”

“The Konica Minolta C14010S and C12010S AccurioPress models represent breakthroughs in the digital printing industry as the first Konica Minolta engines equipped with white toner. This combination, paired with the Fiery DFEs, delivers outstanding results that will undoubtedly impress clients and elevate their print offerings,” Geeves said.

Color-Logic chief technology officer, Richard Ainge, commented on the certification, “We are thrilled to see the exceptional capabilities of the AccurioPress C14010S and C12010S come to life through our partnership with Fiery. With the power of the Color-Logic Design Suite and Metallic Color system, Konica Minolta printers can unlock a new world of creative possibilities in print embellishments.”

John Henze, Fiery vice-president of sales and marketing, said, :Fiery is the unparalleled print industry leader in DFE and workflow technology. Fiery has been driving innovation for more than three decades in everything from color control to intuitive workflows to automation, and we are proud to have achieved Color-Logic certification for the Fiery DFE performance with the Konica Minolta AccurioPress series.”
