In Pink City Jaipur, Realistic Media is doing something colorful in photography and the photos are printed on a brand new Ricoh Pro C7500 installed just a few months ago at its digital printing unit—Subh Rang Printers. The printed photos, which are produced using the new Ricoh digital production press, are for using as inserts and product catalogs for garment companies who are predominant in the company’s current clientele.

The Ricoh Pro C7500, now upping photo printing quality at Subh Rang Printers, is supplied by Monotech Systems. “This new Ricoh Pro C7500 is the second Ricoh machine we bought from Monotech Systems. The first one, Ricoh Pro C7200X, was the predecessor of this upgraded Ricoh Pro C7500,” says Mukesh Kumar, proprietor of Subh Rang Printers.

He adds, “Following the installation of the new Ricoh Pro C7500, we are printing high-quality photos demanded by customers. It has been a couple of months or so since we started running this new Ricoh digital press. During this short span, we discovered a totally redefined photo printing experience.”

Having been in photography for years, shooting photos for clients in the home furnishing market, Realistic Media has expanded its client base into the garment sector too. “When we realized that our clients in the garment market were in dire need of getting their inserts and product catalogs printed in high quality, we decided to make it happen in-house using an advanced digital color production press. That was why we purchased the Ricoh Pro C7200X from Monotech Systems,” Kumar says.

He further mentions, “After running the Ricoh Pro C7200X for about two years, we switched to the upgraded Ricoh Pro C7500, adding a new dimension to photo printing. Delivering graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi at an upgradable speed of 95ppm, Ricoh Pro C7500 is compatible with light and heavy-weight media ranging from 40gsm up to 470gsm.

Ricoh Pro C7500 is bundled with EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers, a crucial tool needed nowadays for optimizing efficiency and quality in print operations. Intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production of personalized products with the press’ variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

Backed by a staff of six, Subh Rang Printers is progressively engaging in photo printing and a bit of commercial printing. “It has been our gratifying printing experience with the Ricoh digital production presses. We thank Monotech Systems Limited for the machines and unconditional after-sales support they keep providing us since the day we installed our first Ricoh digital press two years back and till today with the new Ricoh Pro C7500,” says Kumar.
