Techno Offset Printers, a dedicated user of Canon, continues to depend on Canon digital production presses for their printing needs. Based in Bengaluru, the company regularly updates its portfolio of Canon digital production presses and their latest acquisition being a Canon imagePRESS V1000 from Canon India.

Techno Offset Printers’ partnership with Canon began in the year 2008 when they installed their first Canon digital production press, an imagePRESS C7000VP. “Switching to a Canon digital production press marked the beginning of a successful journey for us; and we have consistently invested in upgraded models of Canon presses since then,” says KS Madan Mohan, proprietor of Techno Offset Printers.

Mohan adds, “After the imagePRESS C7000VP, we upgraded to an imagePRESS C10000VP, which offered exceptional print quality, media versatility, and boosted productivity. Now, we operate three different Canon digital presses, each tailored for specific capabilities.”

The current line up of Canon digital presses at Techno Offset Printers includes an imagePRESS V700, an imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 8986 for monochrome prints, and the newly added imagePRESS V1000. “We are committed to Canon digital presses due to their quality assurance, low rejection rates, and high productivity,” emphasises Mohan.

In terms of functionality of the imagePRESS V1000, Mohan explains that the latest Canon press fits their digital printing needs perfectly. Built on a dependable technology platform, imagePRESS V1000 leverages innovation and automation to handle a variety of applications across different media types. The machine operates at a speed of 100 pages per minute, producing graphic prints with a resolution of 2400x2400dpi and accommodating substrates ranging from 52gsm up to 400gsm.

“It’s been just three months since we installed the imagePRESS V1000, and it’s already significantly boosting our productivity, enabling us to deliver approximately 1.3 lakh sheets per month,” Mohan notes, highlighting that there’s still more potential to explore with the new highly versatile and efficient Canon production press.

With a team of 10 highly-skilled staff and a production space of 2,400 square feet, Techno Offset Printers provides to various clients across different sectors, including education. The company’s post-press division is well equipped with a range of advanced machines and equipment. In addition to digital printing, Techno’s facility is equipped with a line of solvent, eco-solvent, and UV machines for signage graphics, lamination, corporate gifting, and T-shirt printing.
