Sham Desai of Pratham technologies at Printpack 2025
Pratham Technologies, a leading manufacturer of folding and packaging solutions, has showcased three machines at PrintPack 2025, India’s premier printing and packaging exhibition. The company is also eyeing significant global expansion, with an ambitious target of ₹225 crore in turnover for 2025.
At PrintPack, Pratham introduced an automatic folding machine, a 12-fold system, and an innovative carton feeder with a long-fold mechanism that allows leaflets to be pasted onto cartons. “This new technology offers an all-in-one solution for commercial, book, and pharmaceutical printing, as well as the carton industry,” said Sham Desai of Pratham.
Pratham has been expanding its global footprint, having recently set up an innovation centre in the UK. The company also has office in the USA. “A very large part of our business now comes from exports, and with strong international demand, we expect to more than double our turnover next year,” Desai added.
Looking ahead, Pratham aims to enhance automation in the packaging sector. “At Drupa, we showcased robotic automation for the carton industry, and we are committed to providing end-to-end solutions,” Desai said.
Desai added that with a growing global presence and increasing demand for automation, Pratham is positioning itself as a key player in the international packaging and printing industry.
