On 3 February, during the Printpack 2025, Kyocera Document Solutions India joined hands with TechNova to expand its inkjet printing solutions in India. TechNova will represent Kyocera’s inkjet printing presses and printheads in the country. The announcement was made at the TechNova stand in the presence of Dilip Kanth, managing director of Kyocera Document Solutions India and senior TechNova officials.

On display at the TechNova stand was the TASKalfa Pro 15000c production printer by Kyocera Document Solutions India. “We are thrilled about this new partnership, which brings together the strengths of both our companies in a mutually beneficial collaboration. This venture introduces a new market for publishing solutions, offering an exceptional product with the right value proposition,” said Sheena Parikh, joint managing director, TechNova.

“The publishing industry, like many others, is undergoing a significant transformation, with increasing demand for short-run printing. High capital expenditure has always been a challenge, but advancements in inkjet technology over the past few years have disrupted the market. Kyocera has been at the forefront of these developments, with its print heads powering machines worldwide,” she added.

Amit Khurana CEO of TechNova said,” This particular machine is designed for publishers who require shorter print runs rather than high volumes. The majority—about 80%—of publishers operate at the lower end of the market, producing fewer than 10,000 to 15,000 books. Our solution is tailored for this segment, enabling color printing on uncoated paper. Additionally, we will soon launch a machine that supports both coated and uncoated paper. The competitive pricing of this product makes it an ideal fit for these publishers.”

Talking about inkjet technology, Parikh said that the technology is now at a pivotal stage, delivering outstanding quality and value-driven solutions.

“The industry is moving towards hybrid platforms, integrating multiple market segments. Our commitment remains in providing comprehensive, end-to-end solutions, covering different technologies and addressing varied customer needs,” she said.

“At TechNova, every partner is crucial. We are fortunate to collaborate with leading brands such as HP, Konica Minolta, and Kyocera, offering a full spectrum of inkjet solutions. Our unique capability lies in delivering complete solutions, encompassing hardware, software, and consumables. No other company provides such a comprehensive offering to printers across all market segments. Our goal is always to put the customer first, meeting both their current and evolving needs with the best possible solutions,” Parikh concluded.
