The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) organized the ‘Print Amrit Dhara’, a printing industry event, at Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh, on 27 November 2024.
The gathering was attended by print industry leaders Ravendra Goel, Ramesh Panwar, and Avijit Mukherjee, who narrated their journeys to audience of over 500 participants, including industry veterans, academicians, and aspiring students.
Ravendra Goel, a first-generation entrepreneur and the founder of Chemline India, said “The path to success is not always linear; it’s filled with challenges that test your mettle. Dreams are not just for the night; they are the blueprint of your future. But remember, without action, dreams remain mere illusions.” He encouraged young minds to face adversity with courage and turn obstacles into opportunities.
From the small village of Bhiwani Rohilla in Hisar, Haryana, to becoming a leading figure in the printing and packaging industry, Ramesh Panwar is the founder of Colormann. He has built a company known for its offset printing technology, employing over 300 individuals and prividing to some prestigious brands. Panwar remarked: “Success is not about where you start; it’s about the determination to keep moving forward. I began with nothing but a dream, and with relentless effort, that dream has turned into a legacy. Never underestimate the power of persistence—it can move mountains.”
A former Major in the Indian Army, Avijit Mukherjee is senior vice president at DCG Tech and co-founder of UrPrinters.com, a B2B printing marketplace. “True leadership lies in empowering others to shine. The printing industry is not just about ink and paper; it is about innovation, adaptation, and creating value for the future. Technology is transforming our sector, and it’s up to us to lead this change with courage and conviction,” he said.
The three speakers were felicitated jointly by chief guest Jaiveer Singh, president of IPAMA, and chief patron, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, vice chancellor of the Central University of Haryana.
The ‘Print Amrit Dhara’ event provided a platform for dialog between industry leaders and aspiring print professionals, bridging the gap between visionaries and learners.
In his address, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, remarked: “Events like this are the lifeblood of progress. They create a space where dreams take root, ideas flourish, and the future begins to unfold. We are honoured to celebrate the visionaries who inspire us and pave the way for generations to come.”
