At Media Expo 2024, Amazing Infotech, an authorized HP partner for North and West India, showcased the latex printers — HP Latex 700W and HP Latex 630W. The printers, specifically designed for the decor and signage industries, were demonstrated live, attracting considerable attention from visitors. The company says it is geared to transform the signage printing industry through the printers, known for their eco-friendly features and innovative technology.

In addition to the HP Latex printers, Amazing Infotech introduced the HP DesignJet Z6 44-inch postscript printer series and the HP Smart Tank T908 MFP printer during the exhibition.

Speaking about the significance of the HP Latex printers, Vikas Kumar, director of Amazing Infotech, emphasized the growing demand for sustainable printing solutions in the signage industry. “With the HP Latex printers, especially the white ink technology, we are focusing on signage printers looking to scale their business while prioritizing sustainability, which has now become a mandate for the industry,” Kumar said.

The HP Latex 700W and 630W come equipped with water-based inks, offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional solvent-based inks. These water-based inks are not only more efficient but also safer for the environment, being non-hazardous and free from harmful chemicals. According to Kumar, “The HP Latex series printers have all the necessary certifications for environmentally friendly products, making them the preferred choice for eco-conscious businesses.”

HP says its focus on sustainability is evident in its use of these water-based inks, which emit no odors and are safe for enclosed environments such as hospitals and airports. The ability to print on a wide variety of materials, coupled with the eco-friendly characteristic of HP Latex technology, positions these printers as ideal solutions for businesses looking to meet strict environmental regulations without compromising on quality.

One of the key highlights at Amazing Infotech’s stand was the versatility of the HP Latex printers. The company demonstrated how these printers could handle a wide array of applications beyond just signage. HP Latex technology enables printing on various surfaces, including textiles, wallpapers, and rigid materials, making it a top choice for the fast-growing decor industry.

“Decor is a market where HP Latex technology has gained a lot of traction because of its odorless prints and environmental certifications,” Kumar explained. “The printers are ideal for use in sensitive environments such as hospitals and airports, where the safety and health of individuals are a priority.”

For Amazing Infotech, Media Expo 2024 provided an excellent platform to engage with industry leaders and gauge the current trends in the signage market. “Media Expo is a great place for us to analyze the market and interact with businesses in the signage industry,” Kumar said. “It’s encouraging to see so many companies at the expo embracing sustainability— a direction that HP is leading with its innovative technology.”
