Rajkot-based Satyam Printers, a Komori customer for more than two decades, has purchased third Komori press—a brand new Lithrone GL437. The company says the installation of the new Komori press has improved its overall productivity and quality in graphic prints – enabling it get new customers.

Founded in 2013, Satyam Printers with a staff strength of 35 employees has a well-equipped production facility where installed an array of highly competent machines comprising three Komori Lithrone presses and others including a string of post-press or finishing equipment.

“There’s something about the brand new Komori Lithrone GL437 in our facility. This machine is our ‘game changer’ in quality printing and boosting production volume. The other (02) two 4-color Lithrone presses, which we had been running before this third machine, are pre-owned units. This is why we could make out the improvement in print quality that our third Komori press has brought to us. Our clients feel it too,” says Narendra Patel, proprietor of Satyam Printers.

He adds, “It’s not only our existing customers but also the new ones who have been smitten by the print results of our brand new Komori Lithrone GL437. That’s how we expand our client base following the installation of our third Komori press. Currently, our clients are predominantly jobbers from some key sectors like textile, pharmaceutical, tiles, and plywood.”

He continues, “In addition to improving print quality, our new Komori Lithrone GL437 has enabled us to handle larger print size and production volume.” This press is robustly designed and engineered to print at the speed of 15,000 sph (sheets per hour), printing maximum sheet size of 640×940 mm with thickness ranging from 0.04 mm to 0.45 mm to produce A1-size products.”

Most of the jobber clients of Satyam Printers from the textile sector are fully satisfied with the quality of prints delivered by the new Komori Lithrone GL437. “These clients are working for leading textile companies who are ideally very quality conscious. They demand for premium product catalogs which we could provide them to their utmost satisfactory level because of our new Komori press. The same holds true for tile companies,” says Patel.

Satyam Printers produces high-end product catalogs, brochures, packaging prints and many others. “Due to our ability to cater quality, volume, and sizes of prints—which has been empowered by the new Komori Lithrone GL437—we can now fulfill the demand of any client, offering them greater varieties of products and increased range of applications. Certainly, we are going forward with our new Komori machine,” says Patel.
