Ayodhya Printers Association honors Kamal Chopra and Ashwani Gupta

In an event held at Janta Press, Ayodhya, the Ayodhya (Faizabad) Printers Association (AFPA) felicitated industry veterans Kamal Chopra and Ashwani Gupta. The occasion coincided with their visit to finalize the planning for the much-anticipated International Conference on Sustainable Printing and Packaging, which promises to be a landmark event for the industry.

The meeting brought together prominent figures from the printing and packaging sectors, providing a platform for discussing the pressing challenges local printers face. Issues such as technological advancements, market competition, and the need for skilled labour were at the forefront of discussions.

Chopra emphasized the critical need for cooperation among printers to navigate these challenges. “The success and growth of the printing and packaging industries in this region depend heavily on our ability to work closely together,” he remarked. Chopra highlighted the potential benefits of forming industry clusters under the cluster development program (CDP) supported by the Ministry of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) of the Government of India. He encouraged AFPA members to explore this avenue to enhance their operational efficiency and market presence.

Addressing the gathering, Ashish Agarwal expressed his gratitude for the recognition and reiterated the importance of collective effort. “The strength of our association lies in the unity and dedication of its members. Together, we can overcome any challenge and set new benchmarks in the industry,” he stated.

The event involved building a more cohesive and innovative printing community in Ayodhya. With the combined efforts of industry leaders, association members, and government support, AFPA is committed to driving sustainable growth and fostering a culture of innovation in the region’s printing and packaging industries.

In a gesture of recognition, Chopra presented gold-plated ‘Proud to be a Printer’ pins to AFPA members. Sarvendra Vikram Singh and JPN. Pandey received pins for their patronage and contributions to the association’s growth.

Ashish Agarwal, the president of AFPA, was honored with a pin for his dedication and hard work in uniting the local printing community. The event marked a step toward fostering a collaborative and innovative environment in the local printing industry.
