UV decorative technology is becoming a go-to feature for the print industry and related businesses — offering enhanced visual appeal, customization options, and cost-effective production. Many Indian graphic print providers are taking advantage of this changing landscape and switching to machines such as PixelGlow, HP Latex, and Ricoh Pro for digital spot UV and foiling systems.

Established in the year 1999, Vinayak Print-O-Graphics is known widely across Rajasthan for offering high-quality commercial graphic prints. Serving customers from different market segments as well as diverse walks of life, the company is known as a profound digital printing corner and an excellent provider of branding solutions.

Amit Singhvi, director of Vinayak Print-O-Graphics LLP, says, “When we branched out from our parent company, Vinayak Computers & Printers, around a couple of years ago, we transformed into a new entity engaging in printing and production of high-quality digital prints, enhancement of corporate logos and branding. After that, we decided to go for a print enhancement system to make graphics stand out. This was how the purchase of PixelGlow came into our mind.”

Surat-based Klick Digital Press, a complete printing house, specializes in printing, embossing, and 3D effects on photos. Its well-equipped production facility has been upgraded with the installation of a PixelGlow. Klick Digital Press kicked off its business in professional photography in the year 1994. “Led by our founder Shri Bhavan, we started engaging in getting momentous memories printed in a chic manner. We launched ‘Silver Allied’ (dark room process)—a color photo lab for printing and production of high-quality photos of different textures and sizes, right from passport size photos to wedding album photos,” said Pravan Navapara, partner, of Klick Digital Press.

Mudit Printers & Stationers of Rajasthan said, “Expansion of our machine portfolio with the addition of PixelGlow is one of our key steps to take the quality of graphic prints to upscale. After the purchase of this machine from Monotech Systems, we are capable and confident to varnish and embellish our printed products for added visual appeal which we have never done before. PixelGlow gives us the freedom to turn our imaginative innovations into reality.”

Capable of deploying both hot and cold foil films on various digitally printed substrates, PixelGlow embellishes graphics up to 330x480mm, larger than the usual A3 size. It compatibly takes up materials ranging from 135gsm to 700gsm with a maximum thickness of 300 microns.

Thodupuzha-based Sign Print Innovate Printing Solutions is a prominent signage and commercial printer in Kerala whose production setup has been equipped with Monotech Pixeljet UV for digital large-format printing, a Ricoh Pro C7200X digital color production press for commercial printing, and a PixelGlow for digital print enhancement. The company that started as a signage print service provider (PSP) has forayed into the arena of commercial printing with the installation of the Ricoh Pro C7200X digital color production press.

Mumbai’s Inndus Cards and Graphics upgraded one of its wide-format kits to HP Latex. Inndus claims to be the first fully integrated digital organization in Mumbai, providing print solutions to financial consultancies, pharmaceutical organizations, big banks, medium retail outlets, and small graphic design firms.

A host of companies such as Jetsci Global, Scodix, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, and others offer new features and digital printing machines that can do wonders with UV printing techniques.
