The TASKalfa Pro 55000c confirmed for drupa 2024

Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, will be present at drupa 2024 from 28th May to 7th June 2024 in Dusseldorf, Germany, sharing its brand-new device to rival offset printing in the EMEA territory for the first time.

Kyocera attended the virtual drupa in 2021 for the first time as the show made its return from the pandemic, with the company providing unique insight into the TASKalfa Pro 15000c. The cut-sheet digital inkjet color printer was launched in 2019, taking advantage of the Kyocera Group’s technological assets and comprehensive capabilities, and entered the commercial printing industry. The TASKalfa Pro 15000c continues to be an essential part of Kyocera’s growing product portfolio for transactional and trans-promotional applications, the company said.

Now, the organization returns to drupa, this time in person, to share the success of the TASKalfa Pro 15000c. The device has taken off and exceeded expectations, particularly with customers, who have been impressed by the incredible reliability of the device with minimal downtime and an impressive lifespan. Kyocera’s experts will be on hand at drupa 2024 to share these stories.

“Drupa is one of our industry’s leading events, and it provides the perfect platform for us to share our vision for inkjet printing,” explains Kyocera Document Solutions Europe’s president, Takuya Marubayashi. “The TASKalfa Pro 15000c has revolutionized the market with its unique positioning, and now the TASKalfa Pro 55000c has arrived to make an impact in graphic arts with Kyocera’s unrivaled inkjet head technology. Our journey in the industry is an exciting one, and drupa will be the place to discover what we have in store.”

Alongside the TASKalfa Pro 15000c will be the TASKalfa Pro 55000c. The latest addition to Kyocera’s portfolio supports offset coated paper, which is essential for the output of brochures, books, direct mail and other materials that require high-quality image resolution in the commercial printing market. In addition, the reliability, durability, and the low acquisition and running costs of the TASKalfa Pro 55000c are set to exceed the expectations of customers in the printing industry.

The TASKalfa Pro 55000c achieves comparable print quality to offset printing and high print durability. In addition, this product provides smooth and rich color reproduction and high-definition printing using Kyocera technologies such as 1,200dpi inkjet heads and edge smoothing technology that precisely reproduces lines and text outlines. Balancing its durable design, class-leading compact design and lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) in the commercial printing market, the TASKalfa Pro 55000c is expected to be one of the most in-demand new products in the field of graphic arts.

Kyocera’s latest addition will be presented for the first time at the Printing United Expo 2023, a print-related exhibition that will be held in Atlanta, USA, from 18 October to  20 October. It will then make its European debut at drupa 2024 next year.
