Located in the center of western Ahmedabad, Tushar Xerox has been in the digital printing business for over two-and-a-half decades. Tushar Patel, the proprietor of the company, recently overhauled its technological prowess with the installation of three brand new digital production printers, one each from Canon ImagePress C700, Konica Minolta KIP 7170 and HP Designjet Z5400 production printer.
Tushar Xerox has a strong client base of 3,000 corporate and retail customers. With the the installation of the new HP Designjet Z5400, the number is expected to grow as the printer will allow the company to explore the home decor segment as well. “Right now we are focusing on acquiring more customers from the corporate sector as their order flow is consistent. On-time delivery is the most important parameter in any service, and print is no different.” Patel informs that on-time delivery without compromising on quality is the USP of Tushar Xerox.
Speaking about the investment in Canon ImagePress C700, Patel says that they were looking for shorter turnaround time and the C700 aptly fulfills this requirement. The Canon ImagePress C700 can produce resolutions up to 2400 x 2400 dpi and can print on high gsm substrates opening new business avenues such as carton printing. With a lower melting point, Canon’s CV Toner produces exceptionally vibrant images on a wide variety of media in addition to providing consistent, vivid and sharp images with a realistic and offset-like finish. The advanced twin belt fusing technology uses induction heating and cooling technologies that allow the press to fuse at a lower temperature, minimizing heat fluctuations while printing on different media ranging from 52 to 300 gsm. “Before installing the C700, we were working with third-party printers who were using Canon. It is there we witnessed the brilliant print quality as well as color consistency that a Canon printer can produce. This led us to opt for a Canon.
Canon digital press provides a tight front-to-back registration and runs at the speed of 4,000 A4 copies an hour,” shares Patel.
Patel believes that the installation of KIP digital press will help the company in acquiring and servicing corporate clients owing to its high speed. “This is where KIP digital press comes into play as it gets you ahead of the competition,” Patel claims.
