Spring 2016 was a busy season for Japanese newspaper press manufacturer TKS. On 11 April, The Hokkaido Shimbun Press of Japan ordered two sets of Color Top Ecowide II web offset presses for its New Sapporo Printing Plant of Doshin Sogo Printing.Â
In March, The Asahi Shimbun Company also of Japan, ordered five sets of Color Top Ecowide II web offset presses for The Kawasaki Printing Plant. The Kawasaki Printing Plant is the original location for The Asahi Printech Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of The Asahi Shimbun Company for printing. Also in March, a ceremony was held at the Aomori Kousoku Offset Co., Ltd. to celebrate the start-up of a newly installed TKS 4 x 1 press, Color Top Ecowide II.Â
Meantime, TKS received an order from The Sanyo Shimbun Co., Ltd. to supply three sets of TKS 4 x 1 press Color Top Ecowide II for its new printing plant. And finally Masahiko Kibune, managing director for TKS was interviewed for the Japan Country Report in the South China Morning Post on 18 April.
