The main focus lies on SmartControl, the Industrial Printing Operating System (IP OS) which comprises the control centre for all the components, starting with the print heads, to the controllers, and right on up to the transport systems.
The PS8 Industrial Inkjet Edition also delivers all the functions required to check industrial printing systems early in the development process with respect to printing quality and color accuracy in a test procedure, taking different ink configurations into account, in particular. It contains the generic industrial inkjet driver to support all industrial printing systems and applications for consistent color reproduction and proof functions.
For commercial printing, ColorGATE presented its entire RIP software family, starting with the generalist Productionserver, to the specialists Filmgate, Plategate and Proofgate. The core product will be the Productionserver 8, which is able to contribute
its strengths in regard to color management with optimal and consistent color rendition for both commercial and industrial printing applications.
