Fujifilm India, a subsidiary of Fujifilm Corporation, Japan, announced the opening of its new office in Ahmedabad, marking a significant step in its long-term growth and investment strategy in India.

Ahmedabad is a key economic hub in Gujarat and the seventh-largest urban agglomeration in India, with the state recording a 12% CAGR in its economy between 2011 and 2021, surpassing the national average of 10.4%.

Fujifilm India’s businesses already have a strong user base and presence in the city, making the new office a natural next step in the company’s growth journey and enabling it to strengthen further its engagement with customers and partners in the region.

The new office of Fujifilm India, located at office no. 1106, 11th Floor, Z2 Complex, Zydus Hospital Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380059, will serve as the headquarters for Fujifilm Electronic Materials (FFEM) in India.

The office will support FFEM in developing and supplying materials for semiconductor packaging and fabrication, including materials for the growing OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) ecosystem.

Speaking on the launch, Koji Wada, managing director, Fujifilm India, said, “At Fujifilm India, we are committed to delivering innovative products and solutions that embody our Group purpose of ‘Giving Our World More Smiles.’ India is one of our important growth markets, and the opening of our new office in Ahmedabad represents our continued investment in the country’s potential. With our businesses already having a strong presence in the city, this office will bring our people, capabilities and businesses closer to our customers and partners. As we continue to grow and expand our presence in India, we remain committed to creating greater value and bringing more smiles through our technologies, solutions and people.”

Navneet Ahluwalia, head, Human Resources & Administration, Fujifilm India, added, “As Fujifilm India continues to grow and expand its presence across the country, we wanted our new Ahmedabad office to be more than just a workplace. The office reflects our focus on creating an environment that supports collaboration, inclusivity and employee growth, while enabling our teams to work closely across businesses. As we continue to expand our presence and operations in India, we will remain focused on creating workplaces where our people can contribute, collaborate and grow with the organization.”

With this expansion, Fujifilm India continues to strengthen its presence across the country and scale its operations across the 4 business segments it operates in India: Healthcare, Electronics, Business Innovation and Imaging. As part of its broader expansion plans in India, the company remains committed to investing in its people, infrastructure and capabilities, while continuing to strengthen its presence and deliver greater value to customers and partners across the nation.
