Following the successful launch of Time Out India's media vertical, the company is now preparing to open India's first Time Out Market in Aerocity, New Delhi — targeted for early Q3 FY2026–27, with the opening expected before Diwali.

Quint Digital Limited (QDL), a listed digital media-tech company, delivered its strongest consolidated first-quarter performance to date in Q1 FY2026–27, posting 336% year-on-year revenue growth as it expands from digital publishing into experiential retail, commerce, and hospitality.

Revenue from operations stood at Rs 35 crore, up 336% YoY, while adjusted profit before tax was Rs. 4.93 crore (after adjusting for interest costs, non-cash items like depreciation and stock option charges, and one-time pre-operating expenses of Rs 1.04 crore tied to the Time Out Media and Time Out Markets launch).

QDL has repositioned itself as a global Media-Tech and AI-powered platform, moving beyond digital publishing into high-growth physical retail, commerce, and experiential ventures.

Following the successful launch of Time Out India’s media vertical, the company is now preparing to open India’s first Time Out Market in Aerocity, New Delhi — targeted for early Q3 FY2026–27, with the opening expected before Diwali. This marks a significant step in QDL’s push into digital media-led commerce, a scalable vertical expected to become a strong new growth engine.

Quintype continues to serve as the Group’s primary growth driver, posting robust consolidated revenue of Rs. 33 crore and reinforcing its leadership position in Media-Tech.

QDL increased its stake in Lee Enterprises to 14.59% in Q4 FY2025–26, acquiring additional shares at USD 3.25 each. The stake is now valued at approximately USD 29 million (based on Lee Enterprises’ June 30, 2026 closing price of USD 8.96 per share).

The investment delivered a mark-to-market gain of Rs. 10.58 crore this quarter, bringing the cumulative mark-to-market gain to Rs. 129 crore. (These figures reflect unrealized gains and remain subject to fluctuations in Lee Enterprises’ NASDAQ share price.)

Beyond financial upside, the partnership offers strategic synergy: Lee Enterprises’ ownership of BLOX Digital opens opportunities for QDL to expand its footprint in global media technology — including joint development of AI-powered newsroom solutions, enterprise digital publishing platforms, and next-generation media technologies.

Quint Digital is a leading digital media-tech and AI-focused company, blending innovative digital content with cutting-edge technology. QDL holds a significant minority stake in Lee Enterprises, a major American media company serving 72 markets across 25 U.S. states through nearly 350 digital and print platforms.

QDL’s portfolio spans multiple brands and capabilities: Quintype, an AI-powered editorial platform used by over 300 publishers worldwide; The Quint, a flagship journalism platform launched in 2015; The News Minute, focused on independent journalism from Southern India; Youth Ki Awaaz, a citizen media platform amplifying youth voices; and Kisan India, covering Indian agriculture.

The company’s capabilities were further strengthened by its acquisition of ListenFirst Media, a New York-based social media and digital analytics platform that enhances QDL’s AI-driven audience insights and engagement tools.

Quint Digital Limited is listed on the BSE Limited, and its equity shares are admitted to the permitted-to-trade category on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
