Grandprint (Shengda) expands web-to-print business with Heidelberg

Investment in hybrid technology—orders six Speedmaster CX 92-4 sheetfed machines

The Grand Printing Group (Grandprint/Shengda), China’s largest web-to-print provider, is driving its transformation forward by consistently relying on technology from Heidelberg. 

The huge investment in 11 Jetfire 50 digital inkjet systems from Heidelberg and 10 Gallus Five hybrid digital inkjet label presses 2025 is now followed by another order for six Speedmaster CX 92-4 sheetfed machines equipped with AutoPlate Pro and automatic blanket wash-up.

These systems are designed for self-adhesive label printing, high-quality brochures, and a full range of commercial print applications.

With Asia accounting for 42% of the global pressure-sensitive label market label production according to 2024 AWA market analysis, the region continues to demonstrate its central role in driving label and packaging market growth. 

Market forecasts also indicate that Asia is expected to record the highest compound annual growth rate in the global pressure-sensitive label segment between 2024 and 2027. Grandprint implements hybrid end-to-end production
