Jagran Prakashan, publishers of the Hindi dailies Dainik Jagran and Nai Dunia, has reported the financial results for the quarter ended 30 September 2025 (Q2FY26).

The media house has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 56.93 crore in the September quarter, up by 36.7%, compared to a net profit of Rs 41.64 crore in the same quarter in the previous year, according to the company filing. Profit after tax in the April-June quarter stood at Rs 66.76 crore.

Its revenue from operations rose by 4.7% to Rs 467.36 crore in the September quarter from Rs 446.50 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

Advertisement revenues (print, digital and radio) stood at Rs 326.69 crores, up by 4.7% from Rs 312.14 crores in Q2FY25. Circulation revenues stood at Rs 81.00 crore this quarter as against Rs 82.66 crores in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Other operating revenues stood at Rs 59.67 crore, up by 15.4% from Rs 51.71 crore.

In the first half (H1) of FY26, the operating revenues stood at Rs 927.41 crore, up by 4.1% from Rs 890.63 crore in FY25. Advertisement revenues at Rs 638.27 crore, up by 4.8% from Rs 608.80 crore. Circulation revenue stood at Rs 165.85 crore as against Rs 168.18 crore. Profit after tax stood at Rs 123.70 crore, up by 49.6% from Rs 82.68 crore.
