Jagran Prakashan's Q1FY26 results have been declared

Jagran Prakashan, publishers of Dainik Jagran and Nai Dunia, has reported its financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025 (Q1FY26), recording a consolidated operating revenue of Rs 460.05 crore, up by 3.6% from Rs 444.12 crore in Q1FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) in this quarter stood at Rs 66.76 crore, up by 62.7% from Rs 41.03 crore in Q1FY25.

Advertisement revenue – print, digital and radio combined – in Q1FY26 was reported at Rs 311.58 crore, up by 5% from Rs 296.66 crore Y-o-Y, the company stated in its financial statement posted on its website.

Digital revenue stood at Rs 23.37 crore, up by 4.9% from Rs 22.27 crore, while the radio segment had a revenue of Rs 49.32 crore, down from Rs 59.60 crore. Digital, however, recorded a loss of Rs -4.14 crore in Q1FY26.

On the other hand, print circulation revenue stood at Rs 84.85 crore, down from Rs 85.52 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

The flagship Dainik Jagran’s print edition had an operating revenue of Rs 286.35 crore in Q1FY26 against Rs 267.52 crore in Q1FY25. Operating profit was recorded at Rs 63.14 crore, up from Rs 61.04 crore,

Other publications such as Midday, Naidunia, I-Next, Punjabi Jagran, InquilabNorth & Sakhi reported operating revenue of Rs 50.68 crore in Q1FY26, up from Rs 47.09 crore Y-o-Y.

Pointing at increasing diversification, the outdoor and events segment had an operating revenue of Rs 56.11 crore in Q1FY26 against Rs 54.55 crore a year ago, and an operating profit of Rs 5.98 crore.
