Makkar brings over 18 years of experience spanning broadcast, digital, and branded content ecosystems. He has played a pivotal role in building monetization models, scaling regional markets, and driving revenue strategy across India’s dynamic media landscape. His prior leadership stints include organizations such as Goldmines Telefilms, Enter10, Pocket Aces, Sony Pictures Networks, Radio Mirchi, and HISTORY TV18, where he launched and monetized properties across formats and platforms.

In his new role at Publive, Makkar will lead revenue strategy and business expansion, focusing on unlocking new monetisation opportunities for clients and scaling the company’s advertising sales vertical. His deep market insight and cross-format experience will be integral to shaping Publive’s next phase of scale and strategic partnerships.
