A one-stop commercial offset printing company, Adinath Offset is based in Surendranagar, a historical city situated around 120 km from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Since its inception two decades ago, this ISO 9001:2015 company has constantly been upgrading its machine portfolio, adding advanced presses and postpress machines every now and then. The latest upgrade is the installation of a brand new Komori Lithrone GL437 from Komori India.

“It has been just a matter of two weeks since we completed the full installation of the Komori Lithrone GL437 and started running it in full swing in one of our production units,” says Vrushit Ajaykumar Sheth of Adinath Offset. He says the new Komori machine is one of the most excellent offset presses they have ever owned to date, with which they now start unlocking a new level of quality and consistency in graphic prints.

Founded by Ajay Hasmukhlal Sheth in 2002, joined by his son Vrushit Ajaykumar Sheth in the business in 2009, Adinath Offset boasts a broad client base predominantly comprising some big pharmaceutical brands and companies. “Around 80% of our work is for clients in the pharmaceutical sector and the rest is for those from the domains of personal care products, undergarments, and retail brands,” says the junior Sheth.

Recalling the first day of business of Adinath Offset and how it progressed over the years with continuous upgrades of its machine portfolio, the junior Sheth recounts, “It all started with a single-color press; then in 2009, we bought a 2-color press; followed by a 4-color press in 2012.” He adds, “It was in the year 2016 we took a big turn when we began our first association with Komori – we installed a 6-color pre-owned machine.”

He continues, “We never remain inactive in expanding our machine portfolio, either the press or postpress equipment. In 2023, we installed two Maxima automatic die-punching machines to replace the older models. Similarly, we installed three Boxtech folder gluers and some lamination machines. As part of the expansion, we have done the installation of the Komori Lithrone GL437 this year.”

Backed by a team of 60 skilled employees, Adinath Offset has two production units where the Lithrone GL437 is running efficiently in the first one, while the second one is designated for corrugation packaging tasks, including fluid lamination. Robustly designed and engineered to operate at maximum speeds up to 15,000 sph with an inline coater, the new Komori press prints a maximum sheet size of 640 x 940 mm with thicknesses ranging from 0.04 mm to 0.45 mm to produce A1-size graphics and end-products, the press release said.

“Prior to our final decision on the Lithrone GL437, we had seen some other brands as well, which turned out to be unviable in many aspects when compared to Komori. In addition to the advancement of the new Lithrone GL437, we are content with the way Komori India’s team provides us with after-sales cooperation. We are now moving forward to tap the newer trends and opportunities in the market with persistent adoption of new machines and technologies,” concludes the junior Sheth.
