Xerox launched the Prime Link 9281 and 9265 printers at its stand in hall 16 on the first day of Printpack India in Greater Noida. The print exhibition runs from 1 – 5 February 2025.
Leo Joseph, managing director, Xerox India, said, “We have launched our entry production color 9265 and 9281 based on the LED technology. The entry production market is huge and we plan to capture a huge share of the market.”
Arjun Khosla from Xerox shared, “We are bringing high-end technology to the masses. We have observed over the years that entry-level production is where the market is growing in tier II and tier III cities and we want to address that market.”

The latest and benchmark technologies such as 0.5 mm front-to-back registration which used to come only in high-end equipment is now being brought to entry production equipment, he said, adding that Xerox had improved the colors and media latitude on the machines. One can now print textures and gloss mode on the machine which is the requirement of this particular segment.
Xerox had also taken up the media latitude to 400 gsm, so print service providers can print from low gsm to high gsm, and have the ability to print high-quality images at affordable prices, he said.
“We see maximum potential and growth in the entry production color market and we are targeting this market with the New launches – the lower end of the market with 9265 and the higher end of the segment with 9281,” he said.
Xerox has also partnered with Efi to bring to India its FS600 Fiery with 10-bit technology, Khosla shared, adding that the ripping happens at 10 bit, which is another benchmark in the industry which they had earlier introduced in the high-end models and is now a part of the new launches.
