“It has been just a matter of a few months since we installed this Ricoh Pro C7200x. However, in such a short span we experienced a drastic improvement in our print production and innovation because of this new digital color production press,” said Uttam Singh, proprietor of Shagun Graphics. In addition to the new Ricoh Pro C7200x from Monotech Systems, Shagun Graphics’ facility is equipped with other presses and printers, which include digital large-format eco-solvent printers and a couple of Xerox Color C70 production presses. “After all, we have gained new traction in digital printing using the new Ricoh press’ advanced features such as the 5th Color Station for adding additional effects and textures to graphics,” says Singh.
He adds, “We are effectively using the 5th Color Station to enhance graphics in tags, stickers, labels, etc, and we receive a good response from our customers for the innovation we create using white toner and more.” The 5th Color Station encompasses seven additional colors, viz. white, gold, silver, neon pink, neon yellow, clear, and invisible red. This capacity of additional toners plus the existing CMYK gamut makes Ricoh Pro C7200x ideal for 11-color printing which Shagun Graphics is currently exploring.
Other features of the Ricoh Pro C7200x include its speed and high-quality print outputs. It runs at a maximum speed of 85 ppm (pages per minute). Highly flexible to take in a broad range of light and heavyweight materials, it is compatible with media up to 360gsm, delivering crisp, clean, and vibrant prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi.
Established in 2007, Shagun Graphics is backed by a team of 15 staff.
