Delivering digital printing solutions, Print Point Digital in Thane runs two branches loaded with advanced production machines. Just recently, one branch has upgraded its machine portfolio with a Ricoh Pro C7500, a digital color production press supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.

Print Point Digital started as a full-fledged commercial digital printing service in 2016. Before that it engaged only in graphic designing. Recalling the company’s early days and phases of development, Ganesh Bramhadev Kadam, proprietor of Print Point Digital, says, “Our late father Bramhadev Namdev Kadam started the business in 1995. After indulging in different activities over a period of time, we eventually embarked on digital printing, then, we never looked back.”

“We currently engage in color & monochrome printing, embossing, digital foiling & spot UV, digital sticker cutting, etc. For these tasks, we have different machines comprising Konica Minolta AcurioPress C3070 and bizhub PRESS C6000 digital color production presses, a high-speed Epson monochrome printer, and arrays of post-press equipment at our two branches, which are located at Ambernath and Ulhasnagar. The Ambernath branch is where we installed the new Ricoh Pro C7500 bought from Monotech Systems.”

According to Ganesh, the new Ricoh Pro C7500 has enhanced the overall print quality and productivity at Print Point Digital. “The Ricoh press is packed with advanced features for high-volume production. We have been running a couple of other digital color production presses of different brand. However, this Ricoh press is unmatched in many aspects. After all, we are proud of being the region’s first owner of the Ricoh Pro C7500.”

He adds, “Another eccentric feature of this new Ricoh digital production press is its versatility in media handling. It can grasp varieties of media for diverse applications which we provide for our customers from varied sectors, different walks of life and professional backgrounds. Most of them are from Thane and some from Mumbai or other parts of Maharashtra.”

The Ricoh Pro C7500 is an upgraded model and successor of the Ricoh Pro C7200x. This new digital press handles light and heavyweight media starting from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm. Graphic prints produced on this digital workhorse are in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400×4800 dpi. It operates at a speed of 85 ppm, which can be upgraded to 95 ppm as per requirement.

Under the leadership of Ganesh, a team of more than half a dozen printing & production staff is taking care of the two branches of Print Point Digital where produce whole varieties of commercial items, such as marketing collateral, catalogs, fliers, inserts, brochures, cards of all kinds, tabletop calendars, stickers, among others.

Ganesh is joined by his wife Swapna Ganesh Kadam in the business. He says they look forward to making their team stronger and adding more production machines like the Ricoh Pro C7500 from Monotech Systems in future.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 digital production presses feature EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers, designed to enhance performance and profitability for both color and black-and-white outputs. The Fiery Command WorkStation facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production with exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.
