A fire broke out at the Bhiwadi manufacturing facility of packaging and printing inks and coatings provider Siegwerk India on 10 April. No one was injured in the incident. All the employees, visitors and contractors working in the plant were safe, the company said in a statement.

“Our dedicated emergency response teams were on-site, working diligently to address the situation and ensure the safety of all individuals involved. We are grateful for the swift response and assistance being provided by the government fire services and the adjoining industries to contain the fire,” Ashish Pradhan, president, Siegwerk Asia, said.

Pradhan said considering the safety and well-being of the employees and the surrounding communities, the plant was vacated as a precautionary measure. “Every measure was deployed to swiftly contain and extinguish the fire. There were no casualties or injuries reported and all of our staff members were safe. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are underway.”
