Trivandrum-based Orange Printers does everything related to the art of printing—from conceptual graphic design, prototyping, pre-press to commercial printing, packaging printing, cutting-edge label production, post press finishing and a full spectrum of digital printing. The company’s facility is equipped with a complete line of multicolour offset presses, digital and flexo label presses, post-press equipment and advanced pre-press solutions as well as digital printing presses, comprising a Ricoh Pro 8300S from Monotech Systems.

A brainchild of Mr Roy Thomas and Mr Sajith BS, two printing technology experts, Orange Printers was incepted in the year 2008. The company thrives at printing and producing commercial and packaging designs with flawless quality and quick turnaround times.

Under the brand ‘Orangeexpress’ (www.orangexpress.com), Orange Printers offers everything about commercial printing and packaging solutions whether you need offset printing, flexography printing, gravure printing, inkjet printing, or digital printing. When it comes to printing and production of on-demand graphic prints using digital presses, the Ricoh Pro 8300S black & white digital production press from Monotech Systems, now running productively in the company’s production facility, is especially installed for handling the monochrome documents.

On their purchase of Ricoh Pro 8300S, Manoj Mohanan, AGM Operations at Orange Printers, comments, “We have installed this monochrome digital production press from Monotech Systems Ltd. with advanced features for serving our customers in the public sector, particularly a handful of government offices and departments.” With reference to their purchase of the Ricoh Pro 8300S, he also mentions that the high-speed Ricoh Pro black & white digital production press is used for printing short-run documents for various regional political parties with impressive quality print results.

Ricoh Pro 8300S is, without a doubt, a 96 pages-per-minute (ppm) monochrome digital production press, well known not just for its speed but also for the highly crispy quality printed outputs. Its maximum print resolution for black and white is industry’s leading 2400×4800 dpi. Mohanan says they are certain that the machine will allow them to provide the high-quality monochrome prints on a variety of material types (up to 350 gsm) that their customers require.

Orange Printers is backed by a team of more than 200 printing specialists. It has won prestigious national and international honours such as the National Award for Excellence in Printing (NAEP), the Chanakya Award by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), and the International Business Excellence Award from WMC in Switzerland.
