MRL Printing Rolls, an associate company of MRL Group, a leading manufacturer of rollers, recently showcased its range of rollers at the maiden IntraPac India 2024 show, held from 14 to 17 March at Greater Noida’s India Expo Centre.

The group manufactures rolls for paper, textiles, steel, packaging, and other industries. Rollers on display at its stand ranged from PU rollers (polyurethane rollers) and rubber rolls for the paper manufacturing industry, hard chrome rolls, induction-hardened, tungsten carbide, anilox, rubber, and grooving rollers for the printing and packaging industry.

In an interaction, Vaibhav Agarwal, director of MRL Group, said the group has made significant progress in its expansion plans. In December 2021, MRL Group inaugurated a new plant in Hyderabad, named Hyderabad Industrial Rolls, to target the paper manufacturing industry in India’s Southern parts.

Rollers for the paper manufacturing company are our main product. These are in high demand in the South because of the high number of paper-manufacturing companies in the region.”

With three plants in Modinagar in Uttar Pradesh and one plant in Hyderabad, the company will establish one more unit in Vadodara, targeting leading OEMs of the industry.

Agarwal emphasized the company’s primary focus on the paper manufacturing industry, followed by the textile and steel industry and then the printing and packaging industry. He claims they are the largest roller makers in India with a capacity to manufacture rollers from 20mm to 2000 mm in diameter, 10mm to 10000mm in length, with each weighing around 30-40 tons.

At Intrapac, the group aimed at meeting its customers and strengthening the relationships. Agarwal said the company was getting inquiries from new customers as well.
