The seventh DOXNET conference, scheduled on 21 February 2017, will be held in Lucerne where stakeholders will meet for an informative exchange of thoughts and networking. The combination of the Hunkeler Innovationdays and the DOXNET on-site attracts a large audience every year. Last year’s event was a great success and this year, too, the organizers are expecting a turnaround of 400 decision-makers from the industry. The mix of interesting lectures and the chance for networking in an engaging environment is what makes this conference draw such interest.

DOXNET 2017 will take place from 1 p.m. onwards at the Forum in the Lucerne Trade Fair. The afternoon will be devoted to interesting presentations on the latest trends and information in document production. The welcome address will be delivered by Peter Dehm, chief executive officer, DOXNET, who will inform the participants about the activities and events of the association.

The main attraction of the event is a speech by Frank Romano, professor emeritus at the RIT – Rochester Institute of Technology and one of the world’s leading scientists in the field of printing technology. He will speak about the current trends in printing techniques, especially in the area of digital printing. Publisher of the ‘International Paper Pocket Pal,’ Romano has written hundreds of articles and authored over 42 books, which are recognized as standard works of the printing industry and have been cited across all media formats.
