Mumbai: The Vasai-based Umrao Automation has exported its new Tigon brand Carousal-type textile screen printing machine to Nepal within six months of its launch.

The 7 color/12 pallet configured textile screen printing machine with a print area of 14 inches x 19 inches, has been successfully installed and working smoothly at Sagun Readymade, Biratnagar, Nepal.

Founder and managing director of Umrao, Rajendra Rajage, says, “The export of our Tigon textile screen printing machine to Nepal is a breakthrough as we had just launched our new machine. We have now dealers in Kolkata, Delhi, and Ludhiana to promote Tigon. The customer gained confidence in our new machine and our service.”

Dhiren Shah, print production manager at Sagun Readymade, said: “Although we are very familiar with many international brand textile printing machines, we choose Umrao Automation’s Tigon, based on the merit of the company’s reputation on quality and service. And, being a neighboring country, we realized the great advantages of buying a made-in-India textile printing machine in the long-run interest, for hassle-free after-sales service and timely procurement of parts whenever needed.”

Shah said, “The Tigon is running smoothly and efficiently to meet our production requirement. Umrao Automation cooperated with us to customize the machine as per our production needs. Umrao’s technical team came here and streamlined our production after the successful installation of the Tigon textile printer.”

About six months ago, Umrao Automation launched its Tigon brand automatic textile screen printing machines. It is among the few global companies that manufacture automatic carousal and oval textile screen printing machines. The company has also successfully manufactured and installed the Oval textile printer in India.

Umrao Automation’s Tigon series automatic textile screen printing machine for T-shirt printing is offered in the configuration of 4 to 12 colors in the standard version with 12 to 16 pallets.

The standard machine size is 50×75 cm or 20×30 inch and XL is 71×101 cm (28×40 inch). It can print 900 pieces per hour and can run in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.

Rajage explains that the Tigon textile printing machine has a robust design that makes it easy and efficient. It is fitted with an instant pallet mounting system, a screen mounting system that has manual clamps, and a pneumatic holding mechanism. Screens frames are micro-adjustable in ‘X’ and ‘Y-direction up to +/- 5 mm. The textile printer is fitted with a Hybrid Mitsubishi controller, which allows the machine to remain in fully operational condition for a long time.
