The WAN-IFRA Asian Media Awards recognize the strength and depth of the media industry. Established in 2013, the awards aim to highlight the ground-breaking work of reporters and producers in highlighting issues affecting race relations and human rights.
The entries for the Asian Media Awards 2018 can be submitted from 1 December 2017 to 2 February 2018. In challenging times marked by the ever increasing competition from digital platforms, news publishers must deliver outstanding print products in order to retain readers and ad-spend.
The awards will be given in the categories of Best in Print, Best in Design, Best in Editorial Content, Best in Infographics, Best in Photojournalism, Best in Newspaper Marketing and Best in Community Service.
Winners in each category will be honored during Publish Asia 2018 at the Asian Digital Awards gala dinner on 25 April 2018 in Bali.
