Color-Logic has certified the new Ricoh Pro C7200X digital sheetfed  color press when equipped with the EFI Fiery E45A or E85A DFE.

Confirming the certification, Color-Logic CTO and co-founder Richard Ainge said, “The new Ricoh Pro C7200X digital press with EFI Fiery DFE, when using white toner and the Color-Logic color system and design tools, enables printers to differentiate their printed marketing materials.  Moreover, it provides printers with a competitive edge over other printers not using white toner.  The Ricoh Pro C7200X, which can print white as well as CMYK toners, enables Color-Logic licensees to create dramatic decorative effects and 250 foil-like colors in a single pass.”

Ainge added that the Ricoh Pro C7200X also opens up new, higher margin market areas for Ricoh clients.  “With Color-Logic, graphic designers no longer need to create white ink masks manually, thus enabling Ricoh users to take advantage of the ability of Ricoh Pro C7200X to apply white toner on a reflective substrate.  Many designers, brands and printers are unaware of the time and care necessary to implement white at the design stage.  Color-Logic addresses this issue by providing tools and training that enable any designer using Adobe software to create incredible decorative effects in just minutes,” he said.
