Mumbai’s Joystar India is a digital printing specialist keeps on upgrading its production facility equipped with high-end machines and equipment from leading brands. Its latest upgrade is a new Ricoh Pro C7500, a 5th color digital color production press from Monotech Systems.

Monotech Systems, which represents Ricoh and other global brands in India, has been expanding the installation base of Ricoh digital color production presses across the country.

The high-end machines running  productively at Joystar India include Heidelberg and others, including the Ricoh Pro C7500 that plays a key role in textured paper printing. “The new Ricoh Pro C7500 in our facility is an ideal digital production press for printing textured papers. It works like a workhorse to pull off such special applications,” says Jinesh Sheth, director of Joystar India.

“Its front-back registration is excellent. There is no squeeze in this press’ print outputs —something quite frequent with other digital presses in its class. We are happy with the press’ performance and overall post-sales support from Monotech Systems.”

Engineered for heavy duty digital printing, the Ricoh Pro C7500 is packed with advanced features and capabilities to print at a speed upgradable up to 95 ppm, on wide varieties of thin and thick media ranging from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm to deliver graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi. “Thrilled with the speed of this digital workhorse, we produce around 200,000 sheets a month since we started running it barely four months back,” Sheth says.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 is bundled with EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers to optimize efficiency and print quality. Intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers eventually facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production of personalized end products with the press’ variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

Since its inception in the year 1998, Joystar India has been a preferred partner for those clients looking for excellence in digital printing, print enhancements, and textured graphics. “We have a mission statement with our core philosophy to maintain quality and uniqueness in all we do and produce. In order to do so, we timely upgrade ourselves with newer machines & technologies for delivering newest ideas & innovations,” say Seth.

  1. Continuous upgrades like these are crucial in staying competitive. I’m curious about how the Ricoh Pro C7500 will impact Joystar’s speed and versatility—should be interesting to see how they use that 5th color.
