IFRA World Publishing Expo is conducting the 48th meeting of the global publishing community from 9-11 October 2018, at Halls 21 & 22, Messe Berlin, Germany. The event will cover different areas including business, industry and company information, materials and consumables/materials handling, prepress production, presses and printing, etc. Decision-makers from publishing companies including managing directors, chief executive officers, presidents, managers, technical and production directors, editors in chief, editors, etc. will participate from across the globe.

The expo is expected to be a great success with around 5,000 visitors, more than 180 exhibitors, and around 100 speakers from 100 countries. International legends of media and content industry will share their ideas, learning and experience as keynote speakers.

DD Purkayastha, managing director and chief executive officer of ABP Pvt. Ltd. will be the keynote speaker at IFRA Conference Stage. He will share his view on the topic ‘A snapshot of changing Indian news media industry’ from 15:30 – 16:00 on 9 October 2018.

In addition to Purkayastha, the IFRA Conference Stage will be shared by other notable speakers, including TK Suresh, B Gouri Sankar, and Prabhu Natrajan. Natrajan, project manager at International Color Quality Club is an expert in newspaper production with 10 years of experience working for The Times of India. He will speak on ‘News about Newsprint’ from 12:30 – 13:00 on 11 October 2018.

TK Suresh, chief general manager – operations, and B Gouri Sankar, general manager – quality and prepress at Jagati Publications, will talk about consistent high-quality printing on 11 October 2018 from 14:30 – 16:00 at the IFRA Conference Stage. They will specifically focus on prepress and printing and hurdles faced in achieving necessary targets.
