Year on year PubliCon has covered several topics concerning publishing industry and served as the powerful platform to ponder over and churn out futuristic solutions through debates and ideation amongst industry think tanks.

PubliCon 2018 is to be held on 06 December 2018 at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi. The theme of this year is “Publishing in Indian Languages”. The conference is for CXOs of publishing houses, editors, authors, public policy officials, rights managers, marketing managers, publishing service providers, suppliers & allied industry, associations, agencies & media. Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India will be the keynote speaker.

The one day programe is dedicated to upcoming authors, marketers and creative minds looking to make lucrative career in publishing. The key highlights of the programe are promotion of Indian language content, evaluate potential of language publishing in India and ways, enabling language publishers by presenting right set of opportunities, language technologies, and use of artificial intelligence in translation of Indian languages. The event will have six sessions, publishing in Indian Languages, Hindustan ki kahaaniyan, translating for children in Indian languages, artificial intelligence for translation of Indian languages, Hindi language publishing, and impact of bhasha on writing.
